Hi folks. It is that time of year, trip planning time. I am looking for a walleye fishing focused trip in June or July.

I am researching trips that would allow good walleye fishing along a loop. It would be nice to build in a lay over day or two as well. I would also prefer to stay off of motorized lakes and big lakes that might lead to being wind bound.

I've been looking at Mudro entry or Kawishiwi Lake entry. I have also read good things about Fraser Lake. Would these entries/lakes be good for walleye fishing?

What would you all suggest?

How far is it from Stuart River to Mudro EP?

I don't know of a good way to find the distance via road between EP's. Google maps isn't much help for this...

Farther than you want to walk. Another option is to enter at Moose River to LLC to Iron to Crooked to Friday bay to Gun to Boot to Fourtown to Mudro. You will need to arrange a shuttle.

Or just enter at Mudro to Horse to LBF to Friday bay and back out as described above.
