moustachesteve: "One of the best fishing channels on Youtube."
+1 He put out a show a while ago where he pulled his boat up next to a highway and put out a sign asking anyone that drove by to pull over and go fishing with him! Only in Canada... I haven't gotten into any kind of show in years but I've been catching the premiers of new "39 Hours" episodes every Wednesday, best fishing show I've ever seen hands down.

This is actually pretty great advice. There are always barriers and challenges that need to be met, but if you find yourself saying "I'd love to fish that lake" or "Someday I'll climb that mountain," now is the time to start your planning.
I'll help. For permission to camp on Little Limestone, you would contact Mosakahiken Cree Nation. 204-678-2113 (according to signage found in user photos in the Google Reviews).
Compared to some of the areas we all fish, this lake is pretty darn accessible.

I've become a caregiver for a chronically ill family member. Sigh. I do plan to do some day trips this coming summer.
I will paddle eternal, Kevlar and carbon.

Thanks, GG. I might even photograph my paddling days and post little trip reports. It's pretty here. Lots of lonely, rocky lakes, a lot like the BWCA.
