My daughter gave birth on 02/19/2020 to my first grandchild, a grandson, and I'm already looking forward to the first time he can join me on a BWCA trip.

Congratulations! Some of my best memories are taking trips up north with my grandpa. Hope you can create some of those memories as well.

Congratulations! There is nothing in my "mature" years that has been as rewarding as having two wonderful grandchildren. I have a little sign above my desk that says "My favorite people call me Grandma".

I’ve got 7 under 5 yrs of age. Six girls and a little boy. My greatest joy is hearing them squeal in excitement when they see grandpa. Waiting on #8 in July. Greatest thing is none live further than a half mile away!

Congratulations, I never get tired of hearing one of them call “Papa” because they need a little help with something. It always puts a smile on my face.

Man, I’m looking at #9 coming in may. Sometimes they add up quick. I’m really missing mine. I plan to change that this year by being more mobile. But that first one is almost like your own first kid. Only cheaper for you. Haha. Enjoy, the first few years seem slow... I always wanted to feed em miracle grow... but now their growing so fast I can’t keep up.

I have 5. Plus a set of twins in the way. ( just found out last week) They are fun but sure can wear me out. And I am not even that old yet.

Being a grandparent is great.

I jokingly l tell my children grandkids are then best revenge.
