If you are an REI member, then you get back a percentage proportional to what you spend each year.

Probably buying an Ursack. And the growing teenager always needs new gear.

I got about $60 for all my various spending last year. Going to see if their clearanced hammock underquit will work for the bridge I finished last weekend.

Mine was $9 and change but I just became a member late in 2019. I put it toward an online purchase because the option is offered at checkout. Got a BA Copper Spur UL3 mtnGLO for $330 + tax - dividend and free shipping. Not too bad for a $550 tent MSRP. The hard part was finding the footprint, which was apparently discontinued??? Found it on another website.

I might have all I need, but REI is building a new store in Appleton, maybe 15 minutes from our house. Dangerous... very dangerous. :)

Good dividend year here too. Did all the flight training for my private pilot in '19, plus two Caribbean sailing trips through the REI credit card.

I got about $60 and it already went towards my new Deuter pack I picked up on Thursday for hiking trips.
