Can anyone with a newer Souris River Tranquility take a few photos of the sliding seat setup, i want to see if what i have is original hardware or some kind of DIY setup. Mine is probably 15 years old and i want to see if design has changed.

What is holding the seat on the rails, mine has the platic clamp for like outdoor gray pvc conduit.

So it doesn't look like anything has changed, i have the same setup.
What year is your canoe?

I think I bought it about 7 or 8 years ago. It replaced my Wenonah Solitude that I bought at one of the first Canoecopias. It catches a lot of use on the lake across the street from my house, been to Quetico twice, and Sylvania dozens of times.

I have a northwind solo, and now the Tranquility, havnt paddled it yet, just trying to understand the seat setup.

Thanks for this thread and the pics. That setup looks a lot like my sawyer summersong and now I’m thinking it could be nice to replace the bucket with a webbed seat.
