I picked up fly fishing last year, or attempted to. If you are worried about social distancing while fishing, pick up a fly rod. I guarantee there won't be anyone, not man nor beast, within five hundred feet of me.....

I remember that photo you posted of the fly rod on your dock. It was a pretty pic. So you're saying that a photo of you using that fly rod won't be a pretty picture?

I just was practicing my casting yesterday down by the lake. I can’t wait until trout opener. I live in central Minnesota and according to the DNR there is 8 trout streams within a few miles of me.

I tied some 6 inch streamers for musky fishing wouldn't want to get hit with one of them.

Fly fishing is perfect for social distancing.
Those of us who have been doing it a long time, and often, have been avoiding people like the plague for years.

A picture of me in the dark with no flash would not be a pretty picture...
