I took this picture of a friend napping on a rock in Winchell after a long day of paddling.
He later got even by taking the second picture of me. This may well be the best picture of me that any camera has ever captured.

God let Peter walk on water. To the rest of us He gave knoos.

This is a funny thread. Everyone looks so pooped out after a hard day, and yet, so relaxed. I guess when you're worn out, you can sleep anywhere, especially if you fall asleep in the warm sun.
Can't wait to do that this summer in the Q, if the border opens, that is.

I was on a Snake river trip many years ago early in the spring where we ended up taking an unplanned swim, if it weren't for some dark rocks that we laid on to warm up, we may not have made it. The river sucked the heat out of us, and the rocks slowly put it back in.

OMG, when you are just a little chilly from a swim and find that perfectly warm, form-fitting rock. The best naps I have ever taken, hands down. How a rock can be that comfortable....
