Hi All,
I'm very tempted to pick up a 8-9' crane for a stealth bobber setup. I was curious if anyone has procured one and what you thought of the experience/performance. Any feed back appreciated!

Too long (and too wimpy) for fish in the BW or Q. You can do a "stealth bobber setup" with a medium fast 6'6" rod that has a backbone.

I would agree with you there. This rig will be boat only. Really liking the St. Croix Panfish Series 2-piece and compliment with a 7' L XF. St. Croix puts SCV carbon in the lower body and SCII for tip. The V goes on the backbone of the Legend Xtreme so I think with this line, I will get the support I need. Floppy tip is inevitable for this application, hence a 7' L as a kicker.

I always wondered if anyone ever bought one of those Popeil Pocket Fisherman rods. :)
