Looking for ideas for 3-day solo trip in the Ely area in May that has fishing.

Obviously there are many options. What type of fish are you looking for? Crab Lake entry has some great bass lakes to fish. Mudro (if available) has Fourtown and Horse which have walleye and northerns. Indian Sioux North offers several lakes that have good northern, bass and walleye fishing. There are many other options.
