I have a Northstar Northwind Solo. My seat is in the kneeling position. In other words, the seat is in the high, not low, position. My torso is 30 inches, I guess. I’m 5’11. The paddling experience wasn’t what I imagined. I was getting water in my canoe. I knew immediately that a double blade wasn’t for me.
That said, the paddle itself is vey light and appears to be really well made. If I had a kayak, I think I would love it, unless it was too long. I never owned a double bladed paddle before, and I have no interest in owning one at this time.

My go-to paddle for my Bell Bucktail (Sit on the floor) & my Northstar Magic (Paddle from seated position) is a 260 cm kayak paddle.
I may be interested in your paddle.

Not trying to hijack this, but I understand what you are saying. I have a BB 280 cm paddle and am still trying to decide if a double blade is right for me.

Let me know if the other interested person decides not to buy this paddle. I think this might work for me.
I finally got out in my solo canoe tonight for the first time and tried various paddles (2 lengths of canoe paddles and two lengths of our old whitewater kayak paddles). I much prefer using the kayak paddle, but both the paddles I had are much too short for a solo canoe.
I am a bit shorter in the torso than you, but the 250 cm might still be a good choice. I am in the midst of researching.
