Brand new Werner Camano 2 piece kayack paddle. Here is a photo of the tag. Willing to sell for $200 . Tried the paddle today for about 2 minutes and it is too short for my solo canoe. These retail for $285. Not one scratch, nick, or anything. Located in Fond du Lac, WI.

Bummer, I may be interested, I am thinking of a double blade for my solo. To get an idea of sizing, could you tell me what solo you have, what seat height and what the length of your torso is?
Thanks,
Greg

I have a Northstar Northwind Solo. My seat is in the kneeling position. In other words, the seat is in the high, not low, position. My torso is 30 inches, I guess. I’m 5’11. The paddling experience wasn’t what I imagined. I was getting water in my canoe. I knew immediately that a double blade wasn’t for me.

That said, the paddle itself is vey light and appears to be really well made. If I had a kayak, I think I would love it, unless it was too long. I never owned a double bladed paddle before, and I have no interest in owning one at this time.

My go-to paddle for my Bell Bucktail (Sit on the floor) & my Northstar Magic (Paddle from seated position) is a 260 cm kayak paddle.

I may be interested in your paddle.

Cheers!

Not trying to hijack this, but I understand what you are saying. I have a BB 280 cm paddle and am still trying to decide if a double blade is right for me.

Let me know if the other interested person decides not to buy this paddle. I think this might work for me.

I finally got out in my solo canoe tonight for the first time and tried various paddles (2 lengths of canoe paddles and two lengths of our old whitewater kayak paddles). I much prefer using the kayak paddle, but both the paddles I had are much too short for a solo canoe.

I am a bit shorter in the torso than you, but the 250 cm might still be a good choice. I am in the midst of researching.
