I recently was given an old aluminum canoe that I believe to be a smokercraft. I can't see that it ever had seats and it is missing one nose cap. Long shot but is anyone aware of someplace that would deal in parts for these things. I'm sure i can rig up some type of replacement but just curious if i can find a more correct replacement.

Don't know about the replacement parts, but I was curious as to where the seats would go. 3 thwarts and no seats. How long is the boat? Looks like the stern seat would go where there are three rivets behind the closest thwart. The bow seat is usually just in front of the front thwart.
God let Peter walk on water. To the rest of us He gave knoos.

tyh: "found this picture online, i no longer own one, we had it at the lake house when i was a kid in the early 70's, i thought it was old then. wasn't really enough room for your knees and legs in front of the rear thwart to be comfortable.
Thanks. At least now I have an idea of seat placement.
