Hello All,

We have decided to cancel the 2020 BWCA Expo. I hope that this does not affect too many people's plans, although at this point who's plans haven't been affected yet?

In it's place, we will be holding the "Virtual BWCA Expo" on the event's Facebook page. We will have video presentations and possibly a live event or two. We'll put more info on the site as we figure it out.

Any suggestions for this "event" are welcome. Please email me at quinn @ Bearskin.com with your ideas.

Thanks,
Quinn

So sorry to hear this, thoroughly enjoyed the Expo at the Bearskin the last two seasons and was looking forward to this years with a trip after the event. Best wishes for the coming season to you, the scheduled presenters, and all BW paddlers.

I'm sorry to hear that but obviously this is the right thing to do. I love the Virtual Expo idea. Live virtual presentations and pre-recorded stuff from the vendors would be so cool. I'm sure this flying moose community would be happy to support virtual vendors. I something can be put together.

sorry to hear this Quinn, and on top of losing one of your cabins. i sure hope you can make the virtual thing work out, then maybe i can see some of it.

i've been thinking a lot about the resorts and outfitters on the Trail (and Ely area, too) and sure hope things loosen up a bit so everyone can open for some amount of business. perhaps all the owners need to virtually visit the Governor and ask for some help since it's seems the majority of small businesses can't get in on the two loan packages passed by congress.

good luck!
