So, if anyone is really hard up for having a campfire and you don't have access to a firepit, I recommend this particular one on Youtube. Now, it is set in Scotland, but it actually shows the passage of time in that it gets dark and you see the moon move.
What I have been doing for online get-togethers is having this play on the big screen behind us as we chat with people. Adds a bit of "campfire talk" to our meetings.

We have a little mobile "fire pit" that I've lit up - even roasted marshmallows on - a few nights in our front yard. But this is much much better scenery wise, thanks!
We all have to believe in something. I believe I'll go paddle.

Thanks for sharing. That video is amazingly effective. It does somewhat make you feel like you are there. Much better than the other "fire" videos I have watched.
The moon scenes reminded of several times I scrambled out of the tent in the middle of the night to go pee. You hate to get out of your sleeping bag and you dread finding your shoes....but you are always greeted with the magic of the night. Have you ever dashed into the tent for bed to escape a nasty onslaught of mosquitoes only to have them totally gone in the middle of the cool, night-time nature call. magic!
Anyway, brought back a lot of cool camping memories. Thanks for sharing. Luckily, I had just done a little solo camping right before they shut the parks, but it was not enough! My tent is sad and needs to go camping soon. I am going to keep this up on my other screen while I am grading. Grading by campfire. : )

LindenTree: "Whats he towing with that canoe, a log, and why?"
Yeah, I saw that too and was wondering what he was doing. Maybe its how he anchors to boat to shore?
