Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiice... I can almost taste the fish fry.
"Keep close to Nature's heart, yourself; and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean." ~ John Muir

Nice Tony. How deep and what was the water temp.
I'm stumped. I've been out on my local 400 acre crappie spot. It is loaded with 10 inchers. I've been skunked 3 times.... lake is flooded timber You can be fishing next to a tree in 30 fow. Couple days ago water was between 57 and 60 degrees. They should be heading shallow....I've fished this lake many times and do pretty good......
I NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL.....
I've tried minnows on slip bobbers and small plastics. Marking some fish ... last time out I did hook into a 36 inch musky on my 6 and half foot ultra lite. ,In 20 ft of water. Good time.
This lake is also a stay away on the weekend. Although couple days ago all 3 boat lots were full.... Hopefully I'll add some crappie pics to your post...... good job

Cliff, the lake has been way up the last 4 years until the middle of June. Not this year, it’s actually below normal pool. I fished 30 fow 3 weeks ago and did well They were suspended at 15 feet. This week they were in 15 fow suspended at 8 to 10. I was rigged with 2 hook trolling set up with plain Aberdeen hooks with red and white jig body and minnows.” Hope this helps. I sure you will find them. Water temp 58 to 61 degrees My dad used to tell me them fish don’t read the same books we do.

NIce! Fished there once years ago. Caught some decent largemouth. Don't have a boat so I spend most of my time in White Lick Creek or Big Walnut for smallies. On a rare occasion I get out to Sugar Creek.
I love fishing. You put that line in the water and you don’t know what’s on the other end. Your imagination is under there. Robert Altman

Tony, your not showing off. Just keeping people informed about what's out there. I would love to come down and fish.low gas prices and a new truck. I'm just itching for a road trip. Right now I'm dealing with having the doctor inject some gel in my knee.. one next Wednesday and one the following week. On top of that my oldest sister is bouncing back and forth from hospital to nursing home. So my mind is telling me to stay close to home.....Are you planning a trip up north this year?
