Today the Rockford Lithuanian park sold.

We were unable to hold the wingnight this year due to the Covid. As of today, the park has been sold!

I love you all and will miss all the wing nites. Those who have attended, post some pics. It was a good run!

that's too bad it was definitely some fun times. I'll have to post some pictures later when I have time.

Wow, I'm going to miss the good times and great people. Well worth the 5 hour drive.

Thanks Bob and George for doing this. April and I will have great memories of the wingnights and Paddlefests for a long long time. Maybe in the future we can do this again at a different location.

Every year in early spring, the rockford wingnight was something to look forward to. It may be too soon, and you have not had a chance to grieve, but have you thought about doing it at castle rock state park next year?

p.s. what did you do with the bees?

Here are some pictures from 2013. I was only able to come several years for a few hours due to family obligations, but I met a great group of people. This was going to be the year that I could actually make it. Hopefully you will be able to continue in another location.

The last picture is of bobbwca who offered the site and organized the wingnite. Sorry it's so blurry. He was only still for a moment.

Ooh, take over the paddle in campground at Castle Rock?

Wish I had been able to come to a Rockford Wing, bummer they always conflicted with my son's Troop's pancake breakfast.

Some 2017 photos.

And a few from 2015,

Hi Bob.

You put on great events for your fellow paddlers. The wing night was tougher for me because it fell in the middle of Little League season.

I did make it to one wing nite and two paddle fests. I am glad I did.

It was nice to meet you and George. I also have a memory of eating some of flatlandpaddler's french toast and Blutofish's bluegill....
