Just a heads up, those of you going up this week won't be catching fish. The fishing will be good this week and in two weeks. Now how do I know this? I'm going up next week so the bite will be off to nonexistent. And I'm always informed how good the bite was last week when I head out and later when I get home, how good it was the week after I get back! Sooo plan your trip accordingly.

FWIW, I got home from Knife last night and found the fishing slow to dead most of the week, as did others I ran into. Maybe, just maybe your luck is about to change.

Freezing (relative) temperatures, headwinds and terrible fishing are stalwarts of my trips. Glad to have someone else in the club with me.
