I have converted to hammocking a few years back and am not using my tent anymore. It's about 7 years old and in good used condition (see details below) and I am asking $300 + shipping or local pick up (between Chicago and Milwaukee).
This is a high end, heavy duty, 4 season tent and from the looks of it they currently go new for right around $750.

Flaws:
1. There is one pole section with a crack in the female joint, which I had wrapped the joint with Gorilla tape. Never gave me an issue, but I guess it would be easy and cheap enough to replace the pole.
2. Stuff sack has a few holes from being shoved in a Kayak hatch. Not crucial to the tent itself and also easy enough to replace.

Giving this a bump with winter slowly approaching....

Would somebody PLEASE have the good sense to buy this tent? I have its predecessor, the VE-24. The design is bombproof and the quality is top drawer.

After my door zipper failed after a mere 20 years, I sent the tent to North Face. They replaced the zipper and the screen zipper (which didn't need that). My cost for all that? Shipping one way.

Yeah, it's heavy. You won't remember that when the wind is blowing at 50 mph outside, and you're inside sleeping peacefully because the tent is tight (no noisy flapping) and sheds wind and snow better than any other design on the planet.
