How would you rate the top 5 BWCA entry points for fishing?

For BWCA, the ones that get you to the large border lakes quickest. LLC, Crooked, Basswood, Knife, Saganaga etc.

EP #12 Little Vermilion, EP #23 Mudro, EP #24 Fall Lake, EP #25 Moose Lake, EP #55 Saganaga. I believe all but one of them offer a tow which obviously gets you to those lakes quicker. Of course if you add a canoe only qualification to the EP that could change things up.

I'd agree with TB's list. I would add that the easiest way to get you to Iron/Crooked area is a must. It would be either via Horse to LBF or using the Beartrap River to reach Iron. He covers both of those with the #23 Mudro entry. Moose R. North is also a good entry because it gets you into Agnes with access to Boulder Bay. Ottertrack via the #55 Sag entry is a also a pretty fertile fishery.

One that I think is completely overlooked is entry #1 , Trout Lake, Buck, and Western can be phenomenal at times.

There may be many better ones that I have simply not used as entries, but I'll list my own personal bests:
Moose River North -> Agnes
Little Gabbro Lake -> Gabbro
Mudro Lake -> Horse
Ojibway/Triangle -> North Kawishiwi River
Lizz and Swamp Lakes -> Horseshoe

(Just the West Side, as that is where I take 95% of my trips)

#2 Mudro (Basswood River, Crooked or Jackfish Bay)
#3 Moose River North (Agnes, Lac La Croix)
#4 Snowbank (Snowbank, Disappointment, Ima, Thomas)
#5 Lake One/South Kawishiwi (Kawishiwi River, Gabbro)
