The past three days I have noticed several catbirds moving around with parents higher in the trees and juveniles hopping around on lower shrubs and the ground. The chatter is intense. One juvenile seems to be interested in me and has been within six feet many times meowing to me. Of course I am polite and answer the greetings.
Anyone else seeing leaving the nest activity?

The pair of Eastern Phoebes nesting in the eaves of my shed are having a second brood this year.
