Not only is BWCA busy, sales of canoes, kayaks, bikes, camping gear, etc. seem to be booming.

Over time we have lamented the decreasing use and increasing average age of trippers. I think the solution may have arisen.

I know 2 different folks that own kayak shops here in IA and they can't keep anything in stock. "Ride the wave while it lasts" was what one said.

And I just stopped in the local bike shop yesterday, he said they're not even getting bikes out of the box yet and they're spoken for.

Pools, camping stuff, fishing gear, etc. Glad we already have plenty of our own fishing, camping, biking, kayaks, etc already!

Saw the same with specific fishing gear I was looking for - now it all says "out of stock"...

Well - when I am looking for an upside to this nasty pandemic, I will remember this! Keeping outdoor stores in business is a good thing, and getting more people outdoors (and invested in keeping the outdoors healthy and spaces available) is a good thing, even if I have to go farther to get away from them, lol!!
