Does Hog Creek ever get too shallow to paddle, given a drought like we are having now? Thanks.

No. I've paddled it almost every year for over a decade. What varies is how many beaver dams you have to get out to pull the canoe over. I was there two weeks ago and was surprised the water wasn't lower. Had 2 dams that required getting out for, the rest were runnable. May be a little lower now but not impassable.

Thanks. That helps my planning a lot.

We were there June 24-26th and the water levels were fine. We had no troubles getting to Perent with the current pushing us slightly.

As stated in some other threads the way back up Hog Creek ain't that bad either aside from slightly getting hung up on the beaver dams every once in awhile.
