Has anyone been on the Range River between Sandpit and Basswood lately?

I was wondering how the water levels are and if it is passable. We are headed out that way in 20 days. I sure am hoping for a bunch of rain up there for many reasons.

Hopefully it is ok as I’m taking it on Wednesday. I’ll post an update next week.

Bring a rope with you to pull up and down the creek that goes from the entry to Mudro Lake.

Did the remove that tree over the creek yet? I imagine the water level is worse now, too. I went through there 17th of June.

I've been down the Range from Sandpit in late fall with very low water levels and not had any issues. Much less subject to low water hassles than the Horse or even Pickett Creek from the landing into Mudro.

The creek to Mudro was really low last week before the rain. Range River was no problem.

Just got out yesterday from Jackfish Bay. Water levels are good, and with more rain expected I would say you are to be in great shape.
