Has anyone used these artificial leeches with success? Thanks for any feedback.

Yes, they do work. They may not be as effective as the real thing, but I’ve caught plenty of walleye and bass using them. They are a good alternative if you don’t want bring the real thing.

If you're planning to fish them under a bobber I'd probably opt for the real thing. If you plan to put them on a spinner rig and troll them or put them on a jig and jig them they yes the do work. Never as good as the real thing but if you supply the gulp leech some action they do work.

Thanks guys. I like to fish but I don't want to take live. I just like to keep as many methods open and convenient as possible. I'd probably just be jigging so I'll take some and give it a try.

I’ve carried them for years and have tried to love them, but I have better luck with the Z-man minnow imitators.

If you're main plan is to pitch jigs make sure to bring a variety of plastics as well. I like swim baits and twister tails as well.
