SO Second Trip Lake Gabbro

The SO wants to make a second trip this year and we secured a permit for Lake Gabbro for September 19th. Probably just three days there, mainly fishing. Anyone have any info on the lake and area?

Definitely hit the narrows between Gabbro and Little Gabbro. There are small islands and protruding rocks and the water flows a bit...we found smallies, pike, and walleye in there.

And EVERYONE else that goes to Gabbro making that area so heavily fished the best you can do are tiny fish that never have a chance to grow . Too bad there isn't more human dispersion.
