Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and it seems like a great resource!

Does anyone have any information or experience with Alumacraft Explorer 17 foot model? Based on my searching other posts, a lot of people seem to have good things to say about the QT-17C and CL models, but I haven't been able to find much of anything on the Explorer. There's one for sale in my area, wondering if it's comparable to the QT-17C.

Yup, used Alumacrafts and Grumman for years - nice, stable but oh, so HEAVY. Usually for sale used in the Mpls. metro for $500 to $800. Make sure it floats and see what it really weighs - then decide.
