Anyone been in Moose River South this year? How’s the water level? Any issues with the river? Any crowds or issues getting sites? I was planning to go to Cummings but would rather not have to on the first night with the big portage.

We went to Big Moose for a day trip yesterday. Plenty of water in the river the whole way. Only two beaver dams to get over. At the EP on the way in we met a group coming out. They were there all week and didn't mention any crowding issues. We paddled around the northern side of the lake and as far as we could tell had the whole lake to ourselves. When we got back to the car in the afternoon we met a group just heading in.
