Does anybody have condition info for Grass Lake portage north of Brule?

There was a thread about it a few years back. Try a search. Basically, the lake is empty and the portage north an south of the old lake bed are connected along the east side. Beaver might have changed it since the current satellite image on Google map, but I doubt it. Be prepared for a longer portage.

Thanks sedges. Taking six and eight year old boys and I'm a little concerned about muddy conditions.
