Just wanted to see if anyone has been up to Agnes recently - we're headed in this weekend. Word from a friend was a mama and 3 cubs were making the rounds, unafraid of humans. It's been over a month since my buddy's trip...I know they had sharpshooters in the Seagull area to "take care of" that issue...sigh... - just wondered if anyone has recent knowledge on EP 16 area.
I heard the beaver dams weren't too bad this year either...water level knowledge?

I'll be coming out 16 in 2 weeks and all I've heard is that water is lower than normal for this time of year. Maybe I'll see you out on LLC!

I’m going through there at the end of August and would love to stay on Agnes and not have to push to Oyster and beyond on day 1. Be sure to check back in when ya get back.

You probably cannot miss us...6 kids, three adults. We're sure to have a hoot!

I talked to one group who stayed on Agnes for multiple nights and another group that stayed one night. This was at the 3rd campsite to the left as heading north into Agnes. No bears. lots of squirrels.
Never criticize someone until you walk a mile in their shoes....by then you'll be a mile away and they will be shoeless!

Thanks for the info - that's reassuring, and appreciated!

Same, 6 kids, 3 adults. 2 private canoes w/the flying moose on them. Call us out if you see us! Expect to be in Agnes/Tiger bay area by Thurs/Friday of next week.

We have a wenonah spirit 2 and MN 3 (with old Piragis sticker) and an Alumacraft. The other dad isn't feeling great...sigh...not sure if he is going to be able to come now or not. So it may be 6 kids (four teens, two younger kids) and two adults. We'll be leaving that area either Friday or Saturday, if we happen to see you on our portage back, we'll let you know which campsite we left and maybe a fishing hot spot, we'll see!
