1998 Bell MorningStar 15'-6" Kevlar Canoe for sale with ash gunwales & thwarts, with walnut bow & stern caps . We love it, but had the opportunity to buy a Bell Northwind 17' and decided to change things up, so we could more easily do overnight trips that include our golden retriever and gear. If not for the dog, we would happily do weekends trips in this boat. The canoe is in excellent condition and very well maintained. Tags updated and good through 22 (although not shown).
It's pretty awkward weiging a canoe with a bathroom scale, but I'm coming up with about 54 lbs. I think it's the WhiteGold Layup. Sounds like Bell did numerous variations of all the layups, so it's hard for me to say. It does not have foam ribs, just the hexagon foam bottom reinforcement. I included a couple screenshots of an old Bell catalog as well. Message me with any questions you may have.
