I'm going to make my second Cooke / Cliff style skirt for a new to me canoe, curious if anyone has used anything lighter than the 400 ( ~6.4 oz) denier that Dan uses? I'm not going to be on whitewater. Thinking about trying silnylon but there is also 210 (4 oz) that could be an option. I found the first one to be pretty straight forward, and I'm not a sewing expert.
