We're heading to the BWCA in a couple of weeks for the first time in about 25 years after having taken annual trips into Quetico over that time frame. We plan on passing through the Ima Lake -Thomas Lake route and I was wondering about the water levels in Hatchet Creek that connects Hatchet Lake and Thomas Lake. With the lower water levels that I have been hearing about this summer has this route become difficult to navigate or can you still paddle through much of it as normal? Thanks!
