What do you folks do with your suspension when traveling? Everything has a stuff sack it seems except the suspension.

It can get a little sappy sometimes. I keep my suspension straps in a ziplock bag and tuck the bag into the top or head end of the hammock stuff sack.

I also use a 2’ x 3’ piece of Tyvek as a “doormat” to stand on while I change clothes and get in and out of the hammock. If the Tyvel sheet is wet or dirty its goes into that zip lock bag too.

My Warbonnet Superfly is in it's snake skins and travels in a 5L drysack. My straps very well may have sap on them, so they always go in a quart zip lock that goes in the dry sack on top of the Superfly. Also in the dry sack is my sil-nylon ground cloth that is also stored in a quart zip lock. Everything dirty is thus isolated from the hammock and quilts.

My tree straps have a little round bag they go into... I used Jellyfish's DIY video & pattern to make mine. Everything else is permanently attached to the hammock.
