Here's a new White Iron Hunter that I forged from a 1 1/4" round bar of W1 tool steel. I was really after the differential hardening exposure of the hamon and specifically to reveal the subsequent "ghosts". It ain't always easy!
The guard is frosted and hot-blued mild steel.
The handle is from a block of stabilized Hawaiian Koa.

The sheath is lined with lamb skin!

Yes. And the movies and the sheath, and the promotion, and the banking, and my web site, and the laundry, and the groceries, and the paddling, etc.

I took some photography in school and you do a fine job with the lighting and backgrounds. Looks darn professional to me. You're a detail man and I appreciate that.

These are completely edited. The object photos are taken on a plain - actually a piece of grey felt cloth - background, "cut out" digitally and then placed on whatever stock background photo I have.
