Thanks for the report. sounds like a great trip with the family. All to often the family trips are few and far between when your kids get older. Geez, you have a pretty tough wife to take a spill like that and won't here of going back!!! Nice to have an EMT along.

Sounds like you had a great trip! Will be up there this next week and had pretty much ruled out a loop that would see me traveling from Lower Basswood Falls to Horse Lake via the Horse River due to low water levels I had heard about. Did you have any problems making your way from LBF to Horse Lake on the Horse River?

There were a few unmarked short portages and pull arounds but not too bad. It had stormed and rained to beat heck the previous two days to our passing so I'm sure the water levels came up.
