One of many online backpacking gear startups with a cost efficiency business model (partnering with Amazon, etc...they tell you on their website!). They certainly don’t appear to be a small company with expertise in tent design and making (such as Tarptent, Zpacks, etc). They produce similarly designed tents as most of the imported cost efficient tent makers. If I was budgeting myself to $150 for a 2P backpacking tent I would get an REI Passage 2P. 1/2 lb lighter than the H&B Zion 2P for only $20 more. If you are an REI member you get $16 (10%) credit the following year. If not a member then join REI and wait for a sale. If the REI tent fails, which I doubt, REI’s customer service will NOT let you down. Years of proven product performance and an excellent record of customer service is what I use to inform my tent buying decisions.
