Anyone own one or use one? 3v is my favorite steel and the LT Wright GNS is my go to knife, but I was intrigued by the thinness of this blade. My only concern was that on a lot of the images the knife doesn't have much of a point, which I use a lot to remove slivers, poke holes, etc.

Not much traffic here in this group, so I hope you get a response.
Bark River seems to have a good reputation.
That's almost what I'd call a spear point might make a good Rendezvous knife - with a fancy handle.
It looks like it would serve you well.

Karl,
Thanks for your response. I had to look up Rendezvous knife. Don't know if you mean mountain man or throwing knife, but I imagine the first. I agree with you on the spear point. Bark River lists it as a drop point, which I can't see. Never used a spear point, but it just doesn't look as useful as a drop point. Hopefully someone who has used one will chime in.

It shouldn't be very difficult to find the knife to fill your needs. The knife world offers a lot these days.

The Kephart style knife is not what I would call a "pointy" knife. If you look around at various makers and photos online of the originals it's just the style of the blade.

Had one delivered on Saturday. Put it through it's paces for 3 days, and I am very impressed!
