Has anyone ever used wake baits in the Quetico or the Boundary Waters?
If so, how did it go?

All BWCA fishing, haven't made it to the Q (YET!).

I've used a Megabass I-Loud which seems like a combo wake/prop bait. I really liked it, threw a ton of sound and wake along with a solid bubble trail. Had a lot of blowups on it and connected with a few nice smallies and northerns. I got nervous after a few northers smashed it so I took it off...it's not a cheap lure and its really big. I also used a Storm Arashi Waking Crank that I did well in early June casting shorelines.

The Deps Buzzjet Jr looks awesome too.
