We are doing some changes to read messages in forums. This is initially going to make all the threads look unread, but as you read threads, they will change colors and remain unread until new replies are made to the thread.

Doesnt seem to work yet. Different and goofier though.

THANK YOU, adam!! If you made the icon for previously read threads an even lighter color, or white, it would be great.

Also, threads pinned to the top still seem to be one color, read or unread.
And, forum folders at root Messageboard page are all still showing as entirely unread.
Plus, it would be great to have a 'Mark All threads as Read' button, both for individual forums and for all forums at Messageboard root page. (I can force this on the Messageboard root page by refreshing the screen but that doesn't work on the page for an individual forum's threads.)

Adam, improving that functionality is great. Will it keep track across multiple logins from different devices? I’m often logged in on my phone, iPad, and a computer. Thanks!

It would be nice if there was a way to give users a way to mark a thread and save it for later. Make it a favorite or something like that.

The above seems to work well, now. If the icons on each thread within a single forum would do the same, it would be great. As it is, I open and close the most recent thread to change its color, but the color change holds until the next session only if there are no new replies in that thread, and makes it harder once again to find where one left off...

And, hey! I just noticed the new map marker icon by our usernames. Nice shortcut.

It use to be that logging off would mark all threads and forums read. Then, when l logged in, only new unread thread were identified. Made it easy to catch up. Now its fubar.
