Just heard the news he passed away. He was one of the all time greats and we will be missed for sure.

Very sad news. I watched many videos of him and read a couple of his books. RIP Ron.

A story that has stuck with me involves Ron catching a fish and immediately changing to a new lure or presentation. When asked why, he would reply, "I already know that one works."

RIP... Ron Lindner

Ron was a fishing industry ICON.

Ron and his younger brother AL have taught me more about catching fish than anyone. LINDY RIGGIN is still my favorite way to catch walleye.

Ron and Al created IN-Fisherman magazine and TV Series and I think they are some of the best fish catching instructional tools around.

Very sad news. I was a fan of In-Fisherman from Day 1 and was sad when he and Al sold it awhile back, but have continued to follow their family and all of their fishing endeavors. Condolences to his family and friends.

Ron and little brother Al have had as much positive influence on my life as anyone not in my family. My dear old dad taught me to enjoy fishing, but those guys literally taught me how to catch fish. That's a pretty solid gift.

I remember being very young and getting their F+L+P=S, or Fish + Location + Presentation = Success pamphlet in the mail. I can honestly say it was my introduction to critical thinking.

A true productive formula that I try to fish by.........

I couldn’t say it any better. They elevated what I knew about fishing a hundredfold. God bless him!
