Just looked at the website and learned that Canoecopia 2021 will be virtual. The right thing to do, but still made me sad. Another year of not seeing all of you or having dinner together on Saturday night, or being able to find and buy things I don't really need, but want once I see them.

Hopefully things will be better sometime next year. Looking forward to attending in 2022.

Miss you all.

Sad, but there's always an upside, if you look for it: For me, it's been enjoying this winter's Midwest Mountaineering Outdoor Expo virtual seminars. I'd never get to see all of those without having them posted on YouTube.

We will miss Canoecopia. We have attended many times and I hope we will outlast this Covid thing so that eventually we can do it again.

Do you have the link to them?

Yup. And some additional vids from the Superior Hiking Trail Association are pretty good, too, although I'm sure they're nothing new for you, Lindsey!

This year is the first Canoecopia I have missed since 1983 or 1984. I guess I will miss it next year also.
