I had a great season last year ice-fishing for bluegills. My best season ever. Good size and good quantity.
I am so eager to go that I am planning to leave tomorrow. The ice is thin, but it will be below freezing during the day. I will need to be careful. There is no snow on the ground, but I'll be able to drive on a logging road 1.3 miles to my campsite and bring all the extras including dried wood for the stove.
I have a new locator... never used one before for icefishing.
I'll be packing gear, planning menus and getting organized all day today!!
