Hi everyone!

Planning a late June trip with my bro-inlaw to EP 14 with our sons 9 and 10. We are doing a 5 day trip. Hoping to catch a meal or two of eater size fish. Any info on lakes, lures, or bait would be very appreciated. Thank you.

Shell Lake. Always been good to us for walleye and big northern.

Fishing will also depend on the time of year you are going

If you find yourself on Loon you may see a motorboat....but we found some smallies and walleye around the island the sort of guards the South Bay from the main body of the lake. Otherwise find the current coming into the lake you're on or traveling on. Creek flowing in...hit that area (like where Yodeler creek flows into Lynx)

The walleye are in Shell lake that's for sure... I did better on Shell in July than my trip in May. I think it helps that the lakes really shallow.
