My deal fell through on buying a Wenonah Aurora so I am back on the market. If anyone has a canoe for sale that would work in the BWCA I would be interested. I am trying to spend less then $1,000. I realize I am not going to be able to afford a fancy Kevlar canoe, but I like paddling so I will make due. I live in Eau Claire, WI and would be willing to travel throughout WI and MN. I have a couple canoes you might be interested in. One is an ultralight Mad River Horizon, 18’ about 54#. The other is a Wenonah Sundowner, 18’ about 45#.
The Mad River is in good condition, the Sundowner has been used hard but
would work fine.

I’ll just throw this out there, but if you get in a bind and are still looking as your trip dates get closer, I have an Old Town Penobscot 16 that you could borrow. It’s Royalex material and 58#. I’m in Appleton and go through Eau Claire pretty often.
