Just curious if anyone else is getting this screen when trying to view Bwca.com? For about a month now this is what I get when I use my laptop, I've tried clearing cookies and have used three different browsers. Just today I decided to try my phone browser and to my surprise the site is up.

tumblehome: "Your IP address is being blocked. Did you write
something so severe that they blocked you?
Or your IP address was spamming the server.
Tom"
Hmm interesting, only a few non threatening posts here...haha
Could it be that I typically only log in at work (ahem, on break of course) and the company uses a VPN?

Maybe Adam will jump in on this, but to my knowledge, no site maintenance has been going on.

In addition to clearing cookies, clear your cache. I was an admin for a website dedicated to buying and selling electric power transmission services. Clearing cache fixed many user connection issues and other anomalies on that site.

Just to follow up on this.
We have small blocks and large blocks of IP addresses, along with a select few individuals, that we don't allow into the site. This is to reduce spam, hacking, and other bad actors.
These IP blocks are primarily from the Asia/Russia region, but also blocks of Europe, Central/South America, and a few in the US.
The US ones tend to be VPN or server farms that will rent to anyone. These periodically change hands over the many years we have been adding to the list so in this case someone got caught up in this. Most of the spam we get these days originates in the US through these networks. So while some people use them for personal privacy, this a vehicle of how domestic and foreign bad actors are doing the damage in the US.
If you have built up a good layer of tinfoil on your hat and really want to use a VPN to access this site, you can contact us and request a code that will bypass this. This also applies to those overseas. :)
The objective of all this again is to keep the garbage out.

Good policy. I am a moderator on another hobby forum and that has been our practice for many years. Keeps the riffraff at bay.
