Not BWCA, but I’ve had an incredible past year of pike fishing. In the past few months, I’ve caught six pike over 35” in central Wisconsin (all still swimming), including my personal best 41” on a tip-up baited with a shiner yesterday (pictured). Anyone else experiencing similar luck?

Nope, those were footprints I think. He came through an 8” hole that’s just off the bottom right of the picture :)

What a beauty. Haven't had luck like that but have had a couple eaters so far this winter (26"+ in MN) including two over 30". Comin for that 35" +

My thoughts exactly. Although he can simply respond “scoreboard” this season. There’s always next year I guess.
