I am looking to bring my family up in August. My wife is not really into camping so I was looking into lodging. Are there any cabins for rent that have wifi and TVs so my wife can have the amenities that she enjoys while I day trip? I'd preferably like to be on the Gunflint trail, but I don't know if this type of lodging exists on the Gunflint.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Voyageurs at the end of the gunflint has lodging, and with tows you can do some pretty cool daytrips.
I also believe Rockwood on Poplar would be a good option.

It looks like Hungry Jack and Bearskin Lodges have TV. I don’t know if they’re ubiquitous, since most guests go there for outdoor activities. You might want to call them. The reason I say this is because the place where I’ve stayed up there did not have satellite or broadcast TV, but they had videos to play on foul weather days.

No TV or wi-fi in the cabins at Rockwood. I think that is what most people go up north to get away from. They do have wi-fi at the main lodge. Really nice cabins. We go there almost every year, either there or Clearwater.
Same situation with Clearwater. Also very nice cabins. No TV and I think you need to go to the main lodge to get wi-fi. Gotta tell you, though, sitting in that main lodge is really a nice experience, and you can have a piece of pie while you do your communicating.
We stayed at the Little Ollie Cabin off the Gunflint, near Poplar Creek B&B. It has been enlarged and completely remodeled since we stayed there 12 years ago, and I see in the photos that it has a TV, but not sure if that is just for watching videos or a real TV. Don't know about wi-fi either, but with the new tower, I would suspect it is available. Secluded location is nice. They are not a sponsor here, so I don't think I should post a link.
I stayed at the Point Cabin at Shagawa Inn Resort (Ely) ten years ago while Spartan1 was on a fishing trip. It was very comfortable and had cable TV, AC. Quiet and comfortable--spaced a ways from the other cabins. Their website doesn't say wi-fi though, and that long ago I had to go to the main lodge to get connection. Also not a sponsor, so I will not post a link.
Good luck finding something. Don't wait too long to call some places, as most of them will be booked up all summer by now, probably.
