I snagged a permit for Mudro for 2021. I am wondering about parking. I have an event in Superior before my permit entry which requires me to pull a 16ft cargo trailer. Is there space at the Mudro entry for parking for my 4 door F150 and a 16ft trailer? Thanks in advance.

Depending on the amount of permits at the time of entry, the area above the parking area is an overflow area.

Thanks both. Great to have a community of other paddlers. I learn so much from this board. Thanks again!

The parking lot on the hill is where the Chainsaw Sisters was located.

Lots of parking spots available compared to some EPs.

I agree with Lindsey (I always do cuz she's smart!). It is a large parking area. I parked there during a May trip several years and things were wide open. BUT: I was there in July last year and the place had no parking available the day I came out. It was a mess. I assumed it was due to the increased crowds in 2020 and it was July.

I would think about parking it at Fall Lake. Lots of eyes walking around all the time and next to the park office is a good thing in my book.

I wouldn't worry about it, there is an overflow worst case scenario. Not sure how the blowdown of 2017 (?) impacted it though.

It was July 2016. Driving in just a week or so later (the first day cars could access the EP) was an adventure and the portage from Tin Can Mike to Horse was a little challenging. No affect on the parking area, tho.
