I'm wondering if there is a specific/dedicated section somewhere on this messageboard where people look for others to trip with for whatever reason? I can imagine scenarios wherein someone drops out of their party and a new paddler is needed, someone wants to go on a trip, but their regular paddling partners aren't available, they simply want to meet others that have the same interests...or whatever the reason.

I can imagine some people might be weirded out by doing a trip with someone they don't know or have never met, but I have to believe there are situations where it would make sense. I know I've thought long and hard about adding someone new to the groups I've tripped with in the past.
