Here's the idea: Circumanivagiate LLC with sea kayaks. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Thinking of starting at LIS (EP 14) and traveling up to Loon Lake and then into LaCroix. (I am aware of the motorboats allowed in the area.) Then following the border all the way until Tiger Bay area and then head south and out at Nina Moose. Initially, I see there are a few sites dotting the coastline as you proceed north on LLC. Many of these sites are marked but unreviewed until you reach the far northwest corner of LLC (which seems like a nice area.) Perhaps we will have to make a long day out of it?

Here is the fleet:
A 14ft Single (40lbs) (Already confident with this boat works well even on tougher routes)
A 14ft Tandem (60lbs)
A 17ft Tandem (70lbs)

Going to spend some time these next few weekends looking into how best to portage the tandems.

Already well versed in the challenges that kayaks bring on portages. This route would only have the portages at the beginning and end of the trip. I'm somewhat familiar with the route from Agnes south. Would the initial portages be suitable? I imagine portaging would be the most difficult part of the expedition, but sea kayaks would be fantastic once on LLC for the 30+ miles of straight paddling.

Interested in your thoughts.
