Truly! Nicely done, Emily!. My friend finished the Ice Age Trail in 2019 and was in the very low 200s among folks to do the whole thing. Many of those complete it over several years rather than months. It's a great trail and a great public and private partnership with lots of public lands, great volunteers plus lots of good people allowing access through private property.

We should also mention the pride of Hopkins, MN, Courtney Dauwalter. She is one of best ultra-runners in the world...man or woman.

She won the Moab 240 outright...by 10 hours.
She won women's Western States 100 and the Ultra Trail Mount Blanc, the most prestigious trail race in the world.

She can do around 250 miles in two days on trails. 100 miles in around 17 hours on high altitude trails.

Last fall, she ended up hospitalized while trying to set the fastest known time for running across Colorado, just under 500 miles.

Besides all of her accolades, she just seems like an amazing soul and human being.
